Anglo Saxon England When Roman rule in England concluded, new kingdoms of Germanic stock coalesced in the counties now known as Northumbria, Mercia, Wessex, Essex, Sussex, East Anglia and Kent. I haven't seen any with longer spears than the (Heavy) Ji Militia/Infantry. That is unfortunate. Pike-esque formations (such as spear wall) are in the game though as could be seen in the videos for the 'Ambush of Sun Ren' battle. Was what you saw just a regular spear wall with 1 row of spears sticking out, or was it a pike wall with overlapping pikes (in a pike formation seen from RTW/Attila that could hold off enemy troops indefinitely)?
